Sorry for the delay in posts recently! We have been incredibly busy getting the brewery in running order, as well as spending time with our families during the holiday season! We have been receiving a lot of questions about the brewery... When will we open? What is our current status? Have we begun brewing? What will we brew first? Where can we find your beer?
To start, we are very close to opening. We had our brewery inspection back in November, and according to the inspector, we are in working order and ready to go! All that we are waiting on is some paperwork with the City of Middletown and someone to do some finalizing and looking over of the actual inspection paperwork. Based on what we are told from the Ohio Liquor Department, after all this is completed, we will be approved for licensure and can brew! YAY! Therefore, good news is we are super close to opening....but the bad news is that all we can do is wait. Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer though!
Next, we have not started to brew anything. Without our licensure, we cannot sell anything or brew...so for now we are making our plans and getting prepared as we possibly can so that when we get the notice of licensure, we are full steam ahead!!!
That leads into what we are planning to brew first. Our plan is to start out with our "N.E.W. IPA" and our "Country Dreamer" Hoppy Amber. We want to start with these brews before we send out our other sours and goses. We also like to use what is in season, in order to get the best quality and flavor in our beers, so our hope is that after a few months after getting our licensure and our name out there to a few local taprooms and restaurants, we can mix it up with our "Flippin' Fruit Tart Strawberry Lime Gose" and our "Flippin' Fruit Tart Plum Sour", as well as many others we have up our sleeve=)!! Stay tuned in to see what we have in store!!
As for where you can find us once we do get to brewing, we will be hopefully coming to a restaurant or taphouse near you! Unfortunately, we will not have our own tap room starting out (hopefully that will come soon though). We will be focusing strictly on distribution to local venues, as well as allowing the purchase of bottles for carry-out every so often. We have a few places that have reached out with interest to put us on tap when we get our license officially, and we will update our social media and website often to keep you well informed on where you can find us! If you have a local spot you visit frequently, and would like us to try and get in there, please reach out to us! We would love to hear of places of where we can get on tap to accomodate your needs and taste buds! =)
